Why it exists

Picking at random should be quick, fair and private. Luckspoke loads, lets you type a list, and gives you a result, with weighted odds, raffle mode and a team maker built in.

How picks are made

When you spin, the winner is chosen first using crypto.getRandomValues, your browser’s cryptographically secure random number generator. Each entry’s chance is its weight divided by the total weight. The wheel then animates to land on that slice. The animation, how hard you flick and the spin length have no effect on who wins.

Privacy

Your wheels, entries, results and settings are saved in your browser’s local storage on this device. They are never sent to a server. There are no accounts, cookies, analytics or ads.

Share links contain the wheel itself, compressed into the part of the address after the #. Browsers don’t send that part to the web server, so the wheel goes only to the people you give the link to.
